Cassandra AML

Compliance software that shows its working.

Cassandra AML is evidence-first AML/CTF software for Australian businesses facing the Tranche 2 reforms.

From 1 July 2026, Australia’s Tranche 2 AML/CTF reforms apply to businesses that provide designated services across tax and accounting, legal and conveyancing, real estate, trust and company services, and precious metals, stones and products. The trigger is the service provided, not a professional title. Tens of thousands of businesses, many without a compliance team, must now scope their services and, where regulated work is provided, carry out customer due diligence, reporting and AML/CTF program obligations.

Cassandra AML was built for that moment, around one conviction: compliance records only matter if they hold up when someone examines them. So the product is organised around evidence rather than checkboxes. Scope decisions record their reasoning and sources. Statutory deadlines are computed by engines that are tested against each other. The audit trail is tamper-evident, and controlled test results can never satisfy a real compliance obligation.

We hold ourselves to the same standard we ask of our users: every claim we make about the product maps to a test, a database invariant or a recorded proof in our engineering evidence base. Where something is not finished, we say so.

Who owns Cassandra AML

Cassandra AML is owned and operated by Cassandra Research Pty Ltd, an Australian proprietary company based in Melbourne, Victoria. Product development, support and compliance content are done in Australia, and practice compliance records are hosted on a Linode server in Australia. You can reach the team through the contact page.

Where we are today

Cassandra AML is in its founding period. The workspace (scope decisions, customer due diligence, screening records, restricted reporting, program and training registers) is live and free while we work with founding practices. Manual identity, ownership and screening evidence is fully supported. If you want to shape the product while locking founding pricing, create your practice account or talk to us.
